Manage & troubleshoot

Organize videos and playlists

Find your work, reuse templates, manage Trash, and share a collection.

Use My videos for editable video projects and Media library for reusable source files. A playlist groups published videos for viewers.

Find and organize videos

In My videos, use the library tabs, Search videos, Sort by, and folder filters to narrow the list. Search matches video titles.

Create a folder with + New folder. Select videos and use Move to place them in the chosen folder. Select this page selects the current page of results, so check your selection before applying a bulk action. Only a video’s owner or a workspace owner or admin can rename, move, archive, trash, or delete it.

Open a video’s action menu to rename it, open the editor, or go to Review & share. You can also choose its folder under Organize in the editor’s video settings.

Reuse a template

If you own the video, enable Save as a template under Organize in the editor. It becomes reusable from the Templates tab in My videos.

Choose Use template to start another video from it. Review the new video’s text, media, branding, and format before exporting. For a one-off alternative cut, use More actions → Duplicate in the editor.

Archive or move a video to Trash

Use Archive to keep finished work out of the way. Archived videos remain editable, and their published links keep working. Find them under the Archive tab and choose Unarchive to bring them back.

Use Move to Trash from a video’s menu or the selected-video actions. Moving a video to Trash unpublishes it and removes it from playlists, while keeping its source files and edits available for restoration.

Open Trash and choose Restore if you want to bring it back. Old watch and embed links stay revoked: publish again to get a new link, and add the video back to any playlists.

Delete forever or Delete permanently removes the video permanently. Download anything you need before confirming permanent deletion. Do not use permanent deletion to solve an editing mistake; use Undo or a saved version instead.

Create a playlist

  1. Publish the videos you want to include.
  2. Open Video playlists, enter a Playlist name, and choose Create playlist.
  3. Under Add video, choose one of your videos published for Anyone with the link and select Add video.
  4. Use the up and down controls to arrange the viewing order.
  5. Select Open playlist to review it, then Copy link to share it.

Only unexpired videos published for Anyone with the link appear to playlist viewers. Password-protected or collaborator-only videos are hidden from the public collection. Changing a video’s access or expiry can therefore change what viewers see in a playlist.

Playlist links can be forwarded. Choose a playlist name suitable for its audience and check the collection before sharing.

Update a playlist

Use Rename playlist to change the title. Use Remove beside an item to remove it from the collection; this does not delete the original video. Delete playlist removes the whole collection.

An expired video, or one whose access changed, stays in your playlist but is hidden from viewers until you fix its settings. A video that was unpublished or moved to Trash is removed from the playlist; publish it again and re-add it. See Share and review a video for those settings.
