Make your first video

Go from a recording or an existing file to a video you can share.

Breezier brings recording, scene editing, captions, and sharing into one workspace. Start with a short recording so you can try the whole process before making a longer video.

Your library starts with an example video: a short Harbor walkthrough already cut into scenes with a script, a zoom and captions. Open it to see how a finished video is put together, then make your own.

1. Choose a starting point

Sign in and open My videos → New video. Choose the option that matches your material:

Starting point What to do
A walkthrough on your screen Choose Record your screen.
A recording you already have Choose Upload a video and select an MP4, WebM, or MOV file.
A presentation Choose Upload slides and select a PDF or PowerPoint file.
A video you want to assemble yourself Under Start from scratch, enter a Video name, choose a Format, and select Create video.

Start with a preset (optional) offers starting settings for a product demo, lesson or tutorial, or social video. You can change the format later. The same page also offers Use a template and Demo to social.

If AI is available, the Describe tab in the create dialog lets you describe the video you want and select Write my video to draft its script, scenes, and narration.

For a recording or upload, review the material, enter a video name, check the language, and select Create my video. Keep the page open until the upload completes and the editor opens.

2. Review the story

Wait for any processing to finish. Use Scenes to move between parts of the video and the preview to play them. Select a scene to adjust its timing or add text and other layers.

Use Script to review or write the narration. AI tools depend on your workspace’s plan and AI availability; you can still edit scenes and write your own script when AI is unavailable.

For a first pass, check three things:

  • The beginning tells viewers what they will learn.
  • The important part of the screen is readable.
  • The ending gives viewers a clear next step.

See Edit scenes and layers for the editing controls.

3. Check captions and sound

Choose Video → Captions → Correct words & timing to correct caption words and timing. Changes save automatically. Use Narration in the Script panel to choose your original audio or an available AI narrator.

Play the video with sound, then check it again with the sound off. Captions should make sense on their own and leave the important screen content visible.

4. Export the video

Open the export review from the editor’s Export button. Check the format, frame, quality, captions, and scenes, then select Export video. When processing finishes, download the MP4.

Saving an edit and exporting are separate steps. Export again after making changes so the downloadable video includes them.

5. Choose who can watch

Select Share. If you own the video, you can choose its access settings and publish the finished export. Get a share link lets anyone with the link watch, with embedding on and downloads off. To choose password or collaborator access first, open More options.

Read Share and review a video before sharing sensitive content. Publishing is a separate action from exporting.
