Record & import

Upload videos, slides, and media

Start with an existing recording or presentation, or build a reusable media library.

Use New video when you want to turn a file into a video straight away. Use Media library when you want to keep files ready to reuse across projects.

Start from a video file

  1. Open My videos → New video → Upload a video.
  2. Drop an MP4, WebM, or MOV file into the upload area, or browse for it.
  3. Review the selected file and enter a Video name.
  4. Set Language spoken to match the recording.
  5. Select Create my video and wait for the editor to open.

The editor becomes available after upload and processing. Check your workspace’s usage if the upload is blocked by a plan or storage limit.

Turn slides into a video

  1. Choose New video → Upload slides.
  2. Select a PDF or PowerPoint file.
  3. Enter a name and check Language of the slides.
  4. Select Create my video.
  5. Review each slide scene in the editor and adjust its script and timing.

Each page becomes a scene. Speaker notes from PPTX files can become editable narration. PDF and older PPT files do not provide speaker notes, so add the script yourself when needed.

Presentations can have up to 60 pages. If a presentation cannot be imported, export a copy as PDF and try that file. Review the imported pages before editing further.

Add reusable media

Open Media library, choose a file under Add media, then select Upload media. Wait until processing finishes before using it.

Media Accepted file types
Video MP4, WebM, MOV, GIF
Images PNG, JPG, JPEG
Audio MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG, FLAC
Slide decks PDF, PPTX, PPT

Videos can be up to 2 GB; images, audio, and slide decks up to 250 MB. These are media-library formats. Individual editor uploads, such as logos or fonts, may accept a narrower set. Use the guidance beside the upload control.

Use Search media, Media type, and Media folder to find a file. Rename or move lets you change its name and folder. If preparation fails, review the error and use Retry processing when it is available.

Use media in a video

For a ready image, video, or slide deck in the library, select Create video. The original media remains in the library while the new video has its own edits.

To add media to an existing video, open its Scenes panel, select Add, and choose a video, image, or slide deck from the library. You can also add a title card or generate a scene with AI here.

To replace a scene’s picture or footage, select it, then expand Replace scene media in the Scene pane on the right. Choose library media and select Replace media. Review its crop and timing afterwards.

Next: Edit scenes and layers.
