Export & share

Export and download

Turn your saved edits into a finished video, GIF, caption file, or learning package.

An export is the finished video made from your saved edits. Exporting prepares a file you can download; publishing controls what people can watch through a Breezier link.

Check your video before exporting

Play the video from beginning to end. Check the scene order, caption accuracy, framing, and audio. Save any open corrections or audio changes.

In video settings, review Shape and Export format → Resolution. Choose a resolution appropriate for your source and audience. Selecting a higher resolution cannot recover detail missing from the original recording.

If you need a GIF, enable Also export a GIF (up to 60 s) before exporting.

Export the latest edits

  1. Open the export review from the toolbar’s Export (or Export again) button.
  2. Review Format, Frame, Quality, Captions, Scenes, and Footage duration, together with any notices.
  3. Select Keep editing if something needs changing, or Export video when ready.
  4. Wait for processing to finish.
  5. Use Download MP4 to save the finished file.

Open Status if you are unsure whether the export is current. Export needed means the finished file does not yet represent the current edit. Export is up to date means it does.

An older download can still be available after you make changes. Export again before delivering the final version.

Download other files

Open More actions in the editor. Available downloads depend on what has been created for the video:

Download What it provides
Download original The original source recording, when attached.
Download MP4 The exported video.
Download GIF The GIF export, when generated.
Download captions The available caption file.
Download LMS package (SCORM) A package for importing into a compatible learning platform, available with a current export.

For an LMS package, import it into your learning platform and test playback and completion behavior there before assigning it to learners.

The Free plan adds a Breezier watermark to exports. See the current options under Plans & billing if you need a different plan.

Update a shared video

Exporting new edits does not by itself replace the published video. Open Share, review the finished export, and use Settings → Publish latest export when it is ready. If approval is required, obtain approval for the current export first.

For cover images, post copy, and batches of different formats, see Create platform versions. For access settings, see Share and review a video.

If export needs attention

Read the message shown in the editor, correct the identified issue, and retry when available. Check for unsaved changes or processing still in progress before starting another export.

Keep your source material until you have checked the downloaded file. See Troubleshooting for common blockers.
